I’ve always been a New Yorker. I was born in New York City, and now am fortunate enough to call it home once again. Even when I lived in Connecticut as a child, I was always proud to be the kid from New York. Never have I been more proud of my hometown than over these past few weeks. We have all been so moved by the words of NY’s Governor Cuomo, who has been leading us through this with dignity and strength.
However, nothing can compare to the real heroes: the health care workers, first responders, and essential personnel who put their lives on the line working selflessly every day. They have redefined what it means to be a New Yorker, and I dedicate this to them.
Set to the Governor’s inspiring words, I offer them my gratitude and admiration in the manner I know best.
Please consider passing this along with the hope that everyone might consider making any contribution they can to http://www.feedingamerica.org or a charity of their choice to help with the COVID-19 pandemic. 🙏🏻 Remember, no matter what, #LoveWins
